Deadlines and payments

Important dates:

- January 2014: The 6PCM website opens and the abstract/paper submission starts
- February 15th, 2014:  March 30th, 2014: Deadline for special session proposals (Extended)
- March 15th, 2014:   April 2nd, 2014: Paper submission deadline (Extended)
- April 15th, 2014:  May 7th, 2014: Notification of paper acceptance (Extended)
- May 10th, 2014: Abstract submission deadline for those who submit only abstracts (1-2 pages)
- May 15th, 2014: Notification of abstract acceptance
- May 15th, 2014:   May 28th, 2014: Final versions of papers due (Extended)
- May 23rd, 2014: Deadline for early registration and conference fee payment
- July 1st, 2014: Conference starts

Participation and registration:

The conference registration, followed by the conference fee payment, will entitle to: participation in plenary lectures and parallel special sessions, coffee breaks and lunches, the multi-author edited book, the book of abstracts, the conference dinner, and an excursion.

The registration to the 6PCM conference will be performed through the on-line registration available on the home page. Registration will only be considered completed upon reception of the registration fee. The conference fee payments will be remitted in Polish zloty (PLN). The rate of exchange is approximately 1 EUR = 4,2 PLN.

Conference fees for the 6th Podlasie Conference on Mathematics:

  • Regular registration: 650 PLN (23% VAT included) if paid before or on May 23rd, 2014.
  • Late registration: 750 PLN (23% VAT included) if paid after May 23rd, 2014 but not later than on July 1st, 2014.

Please, note that all bank fees related to the transfer should be paid by the participant.

A few other registration rules:

In order to include an accepted contributed talk in the conference programme and an accepted submitted paper/abstract in the multi-author edited book/the book of abstracts, at least one (co)author of the submission must register and pay the conference fee, attend the conference, and present the paper.

Students participating in the Student Session are asked to register to the conference but are exempted from the conference fee payment. Such a registration will entitle to participation in plenary lectures, parallel special sessions, and coffee breaks. Apart from that the accepted submitted papers/abstracts will be included in the multi-author edited book/book of abstracts. At the time of registration, student-participants will be requested to provide a copy of their student ID card or a verification letter of their student status from the department head.

Any other requests concerning the conference fee discounts will be considered individually but please, take into account that the conference resources are very limited.
